MSI Big Bang Marshall 1155 Motherboard

MSI officialy announced MSI Big Bang Marshall 1155 Motherboard. It is based on P67 chipset without SATA error.

Gigabyte X58A-OC Motherboard

Soon on CeBIT 2011 Gigabyte will announce X58A-OC Motherboard and as the name suggests it is a motherboard for over clockers.
So lets see the specs:

Prolimatech Genesis monster cooler

In about two weeks Prolimatech will launch a Genesis cooler and it has a bit unusual construction.
One of the towers is turned 90 degrees to cool the ram and vrm's.
The weight of the cooler is 800 grams the dimensions are 146 x 216,5 x 160 and the baseplate is connected to the cooler by six 6mm heatpipes. It is able to handle two 140/120 mm fans.

It is compatible with 

Intel LGA 775, 1155, 1156, 1366
AMD Socket AM2(+) i AM3

The Price is 60 euro and the official date of release is 4th of march

(Unofficial) Leaked specs of iPad 2!

So what do we have in new iPad:


CPU: dual core ARM Cortex-A9, 1,2 GHz
GPU:dual core PowerVR SGX543, should be 3 times faster than iPhone 4 GPU
RAM: 512 MB RAM Type LPDDR3-1066
Camera with the resolution of 1 mpix
Front facing internet camera 0,3 mpix (compatible with Apple Face Time)
Wi-FI
Apple iOS 5.0

Should be very interesting! Now that is the alternative for a netbook!
If it it the specification of the iPad 2 i want one right now (:

STOPPED PRODUCTION OF ALL SANDY BRIDGE CHIPSETS!

So what is the problem??
The problem is in one of the layers of the motherboard that can interfere the work of SATA II controller. Intel grants that the problem can not be solved by software update and all of the motherboards must be replaced.

But there is one more problem.
Intel said that new updated motherboards will be available in the end of march but the mass availability will be achieved in APRIL! In March or April (i don't know precisely!) AMD will release Bulldozer CPUs so new architecture! It might be similar situation to the first delayed Fermi GPU from nvidia and Radeon 5xxx series from AMD when nvidia because of the delay(not only because of the delay) lost their position of leader (or at least Intel will be the leader still but they will lose a lot of money!)

But Intel played very nicely! They said that they will replace all motherboards!

Analysts predict that Intel will loose 300 million dollars and another 700 million dollars on the motherboard replacement!!! Another bad effect is on the big companies like apple they have to delay their new computers based on sandy bridge cpus!!!Bad start of the 2011 for Intel! This will be an interesting year!

UPDATE!
I've read another news about the Intel's problems seems like the costs will be higher now they predict that it can be 800 millions-1 milliard dollars and it can rise up!
