Radeon 5870 6x Eyefinity

On guru3d.com we have a new article about ATi new 5870 card witch is capable to handle up to 6 monitors! The resolution is insane as well as the effect but see for yourself it is mind blowing! As you can see it is just single 5870 but XFX has a 5970 6x eyefinity so this will be rly kickass card (News below)

XFX 5970 6x Eyefinity. GOD I WANT THIS!

This monster has 2 GB of ram 3200 SPUs 64 ROPS Mah goodness lets not talk about the specs that everybody knows already. The deal is you can connect to this card up to 6 monitors and use it as one big also non reference cooling with turbine fan at the middle witch is looking great and also the best BOX FOR CARD EVAR!

Here are the pictures Nice Huh?

GTX 480 Watercooled by EVGA

GTX 480 Watercooled by EVGA. I am wondering how big have to be a radiator to cool this HOT GPU but still w8ting for some youtube rewievs by trubitrar.
Cards are overclocked and the clocks are:

EVGA GeForce GTX 480 FTW Hydro Copper (015-P3-1489-AR): 750 / 1500 / 950 MHz,
EVGA GeForce GTX 470 FTW Hydro Copper (012-P3-1479-AR): 650 / 1300 / 950 MHz,

There Are also stock cooled overclocked cards but they are not as fast as this watercooled monsters.

Non Reference GTX 470 and 480

OK so we gonna have some new GTX 4xx series with changed cooling. Considering that fermi is a HOT GPU they wont be quiet

first is Point Of View so the clocks are stock(GeForce GTX 470 607/1215/3348 MHz and GeForce GTX 480 700/1401/3696 MHz ) but they have custom cooling system it is looking like this

FINALY TESTS OF GTX 480 and 470 and a big FAIL

GTX 480 and 470 are finally hear. Yes the performance is very nice but for me thats only good thing. Why? i will point pluses and minuses pluses first:
Pluses:
+Little faster in DX 11 than 5870
+ Nvidia 3D Surround Vision
+Very good performance

Minuses:
-Draws more power than 5970 and it is just a 5870 performance line
-Temperatures are just to hi 95 c on a single GPU?
-FAN Noise
-Price for performance and power comsumption
-It is looking ugly

So for me is is a FAIL if some of you is watching also my youtube channel
(http://www.youtube.com/user/ZastrzykHD?feature=mhw5) :p
I have bought a Radeon 5870 so lets see the pluses and minuses of 5870

Pluses:
+Very good performance
+Very low power consumption comaperd to GTX 480
+Eyefinity Technology
+Silent even under full load!
+Nice design so it is locking incredible in case
+Low temperatures as for the performance it develops

Minuses:
-Little slower in DX 11 than GTX 480
-No 3D support yet

So as i say the performance difference in DX 11 between 5870 and GTX 480 as well as betwen 5850 and GTX 470 is not worth the money that you have to pay for new GTX series.
nVidia FAILED this time.

My Radeon on full load reached about 83 C and while playing games it is about 66/70 not more.

But See for yourself....

MSI 5870 and 5850 Twin Frozr II

MSi informed that they are now selling a 5870 and 5850 with their flagship cooling system called Twin Frozr II. I just updated the picture of 5870 because 5850 is looking exactly the same. This model is not from lightning series so this is just a 5870 with changed cooling. Anything else like clocks is stock.

AMD Is making it's own 3D System

ATi wants to create an open 3D programing to fight with nVidia 3D Vision. It will be compatible with DirectX 9, 10 and 11 you will be able also to watch 3D Blu-ray .

They say it will be available next year but personally i think they have to relieve it as fast as possible.

XFX HD Radeon 5970 Eyefinity x6

So another Radeon card witch can handle 6 monitors. The GPU has custom cooling system (But it looks like reference design but with the fan in the middle 0_o) it has 4 GB Ram (2 GB per GPU)
6x mini display port and to power it you need 2x 8 pin PCI-Espress power. GPU clock is 850 MHz and memory is 4,8 GHz. XFX will provide only 1500 cards like this and one card like this will cost 1000 dollars.
