GTX 460 From Galaxy

Galaxy will release a very interesting product. The GTX 460 is so good mid-range GPU that a lot of companies are making their variations.

So galaxy has a GTX 460 with 786 and 1024 MB memory
Ok but what is so special?

Ok lets start from the reference clocks:

GPU: 675
Shaders: 1350
Memory: 3600

The clocks of the GTX 460 from galaxy are:
(Depending from the edition)
GPU:800/700
Shaders: 1620/1400
Memory:4000/3969

So rely nice OC
Also the design of the cooler is nice. The fan can be pulled up to clean the radiator

GTX 460

It's been a while since i posted on a blog but i didn't heaved time to do this.
So now the news

GTX 460 so the lowest end GTX series card from Nv will be available in two versions

First will be with 1 GB of ram with 256 bus

Second with 786 mb of ram and 192 bot bus

Rest of the wpecs will be as follows:

336 CUDA cores
GPU: 675 MHz
RAM: 3,6 GHz
TDP version 768 MB: 150 W
TDP version 1 GB: 160 W

Definitely not a monster but till now the War betwen ATi and NV is on ATi's site

Why ATi wins?
Well:
Better TDP and Power consumption to performance
Lower temps
Lower prices
Bigger choise

But remember Nv has great 3D technology now on 3 diplays and PhysX and CUDA but the prices are bit to hi.

But well i think GTX 460 can be a good card. But i will w8 for the tests

Radeon 5770 with Network procesing unit.

Power Color will show on Computex 2010 a GPU with a Bigfoot Killer Xeno pro NPU (network processing unit) The gpu is based on a 5770 so performance should be pretty good. As they say the integrated NPU in the graphic card should decrease pings, increase frame rates since the NPU takes the stress from the CPU. Full specification, price ect is not known yet.

Asus ROG Xpander = nVidia FAILL

I am not an nV or ATi fanboy but nvidia now keeps failing.
Why? For example to run SLi technology on a motherboard companies needs to buy a special nf200 bridge witch enables SLi and expands pci express lines and to run 4x GPUs from nvidia
(4-way SLi) nvidia wants to put on a motherboard two nf200 chips.
NF200 chip makes the whole motherboard more complicated also nv wants from companies to pay money for the nf200 chip and for the SLi official licence(about 100$ for 2x nf200 easy to calculate 50$ for one chip). 
With crossfire there aren't such problems so you can have cheap motheboard with crossfire support.
ASUS on Rampage III Extreme wanted to keep reasonable price for the technology thats why the mobo supports only crossfire. But the true is that the nv is now breaking records with 4-way sli thats why asus wanted to have a 4-way sli support on Rampage III Extreme.

They created a special board with 2x nf 200 chips and 4x pci express called
ASUS ROG Xpander.
It allows to run 4x PCI express at full x16 speed 
Lonley 2x nf 200 chips can't provide in SLi full x16 speed but combined with x58 chipset it is possible.
Now to to be completley clear. The x58 provides it's pci express lines and 2x nf200 provides it's pci express lines. Chips combined together gives us 4x PCI express slots with x16 speed on all slots. Cool? not realy. The nf 200 chips are on the stand alone pcb and the price will be too big as for a board witch only enables SLi technology.
Also i think we would need a special case to fit this. And as for me it is just looking ugly. So the pictures as always below

So here is the monster. The clocks are stock but card has 4 gb of memory (2 gb for each core) and 12x mini display ports so you can hook up up to twelve screens. Insane resolutions, insane desktop space, insane gaming experience but the price is unknown. The pictures below.

GTX 470 with unique heatsink from Galaxy

This GTX 470 is unique. It has changed cooling witch is looking very futuristic. But to help clean the gpu the fan swings up. VERY NICE GALAXY! Photos below. btw I am interested how good is this heatsink??
